For Charity
First off the
tournament will
be limited to a total of 16 contestants, considered to be the best
Poker
Players in the Galaxy. Each contestant will be issued a total of $50 in
chips for a buy in of $10. Sorry, the
wealthy can't buy this tournament, it will be on skill alone. Half the
Contestants will play in the first round at four per table. The other
half
will play in the second round, again at four per table. The winners
from
these four tables will go on to the Final, Sudden Death, Round. Any
contestant
that withdraws from the tournament will forfeit all remaining chips
to the winner at their table at the end of the round, they can not be
given
to another contestant. This way all contestants making it to the final
round will start with a total of $100 in chips. Half the Money from
this event
will go to our chosen Charitable Organization, the Shriner's Burn
Center.
The Starting time for each round will be announced at the convention. The winner of this event will receive a special Texas Hold'em Prize.
